Structure Of The Major Arpeggio

The major arpeggio is built by stacking a major third (from the root A to the major third C-sharp) and a minor third (from C-sharp to the fifth E). This structure is not only found in the major chord, but also in extended chords in transposed form. For detailed analysis, see our study on superimposing arpeggios over triads.
