Construction of the Half-Diminished Arpeggio Jam Track
This play along jam track has a 4 bar introduction of drums, double bass and harp. Start playing the half-diminished arpeggio exercise together with the bass run and you will be able to play the entire piece as demonstrated in the video. The notation at the top of the page is taken from the Jamtracks PDF showing the notes of the double bass. The two parts of the jamtrack were composed from different chords, which are enriched by the half-diminished guitar arpeggio (A, C, Eb, G) with partly chordal foreign notes (superimposing) to increase the harmonic tension.
