Construction of the Minor 7th b9 Arpeggio Jam Track

This play along jam track has an introduction by the cello section outlining the A phrygian tonality. Start playing the minor seventh flat nine arpeggio exercise after the pickup up note of the double bass and you will be able to play the entire piece as demonstrated in the video. The notation at the top of the page is taken from the Jamtracks PDF showing the development of the independent violin 1 and 2 sections. While their voices move mostly stepwise through the A phrygian scale, the bass keeps switching from A to Bb and back in order to anchor the harmonic changes by its root.
