Intervals of the 3-Notes-per-String Major Scale

The structure of the major scale corresponds to the intervals root (1), second (2), major third (3), fourth (4), fifth (5), sixth (6) and major seventh (j7). A distinct fingering is formed from each of these seven notes and named according to church mode I-VII. To move such a pattern to a key other than A major, use the transposing table.
