Intervals of the Natural Minor Scale in Seven Positions

The natural minor scale is built from the intervals root (1), second (2), minor third (m3), fourth (4), fifth (5), minor sixth (b6) and minor seventh (b7). To reach these notes in all positions on the guitar neck, seven distinct fingerings are formed and given the names of natural church mode I-VII. To move a pattern to a key other than A minor, use the transposing table.
