Minor chords with major 7th, minor 7th or 6th extensions

Starting with the three minor families of the open chord, moving a single finger continuously changes the timbre created by the newly added interval. From column to column, the result are:
1. column ↓ minor chord
2. column ↓ minor major 7th chord
3. column ↓ minor 7th chord (mild)
4. column ↓ minor 6th chord
5. column ↓ minor 7th chord (spicy)

As shown in the video, these tense sounds are excellent for setting dramatic scenes. The picking pattern consists of striking the low strings with the thumb, followed by the remaining three fingers on the high strings to bring out the tonal changes as clearly as possible.
