Fingerings of the blues scale

The blues scale extends the notes of the minor pentatonic scale A, C, D, E and G with the diminished fifth of the blue note Eb (see x in the diagram). A new fingering is formed from each of the five pentatonic steps, in which the root A is marked with a circle. To play the pattern in another key, it must be moved according to the transposing table.
