The structure of the natural minor scale corresponds to the intervals root (1), second (2), minor third (m3), fourth (4), fifth (5), minor sixth (b6) and minor seventh (b7). A distinct fingering is formed from each of these seven notes and named according to natural modes I-VII. To move these patterns to other keys than A minor, use the transposing table.
