Intervals of the 3-Notes-per-String Natural Minor Scale

The structure of the natural minor scale corresponds to the intervals root (1), second (2), minor third (m3), fourth (4), fifth (5), minor sixth (b6) and minor seventh (b7). A distinct fingering is formed from each of these seven notes and named according to natural mode I-VII. To move such a pattern to a key other than A minor, use the transposing table.
