Use of chords on strings 1234

The chords of string group 1234 are especially suitable for accompanying pieces of music in which low instruments such as double bass or electric bass play a leading role. As these chords sound in the high register, there is plenty of room for the bass to play its role without interference. This type of chords is therefore particularly common in funk and reggae. But they also cut a good figure in dense arrangements and are assertive in any jamtrack thanks to its slim shape.
