Use of Chord on String 1235

String group 1235 is distinguished by the clear presence of the upper three strings paired with the slender bass tone of the 5th string. Once the difficulties of a few widely stretched fingerings are mastered, these chords are excellent for light-footed accompaniment of pieces in which a deep bass instrument should be given enough room to develop. This can be heard well in the video with a jamtrack in which the double bass plays an independent melody line to the rhythm guitar.
